Brehove, Chun, Harvey All Earn More Postseason Accolades

TACOMA, Wash. – Juniors Jackie Harvey, Jenni Brehove and Christina Chun earned various accolades this week to further highlight the Logger volleyball season. Brehove and Harvey were each selected to the American Volleyball Coaches Association's All-West Region team while Chun earned Academic All-District honors from the College Sports Information Directors Of America.

With no seniors on the team, these three honorees make up the leadership core of the Loggers. They have led the Loggers to two tournament wins this weekend and a spot in the "Sweet 16" nationally.

Brehove and Harvey were honored for their play on the court this year. Both were recently selected to the All-NWC First Team and Harvey was named the Northwest Conference Player of the Year. Harvey is averaging 3.86 kills and 4.26 digs per set while Brehove averages a conference-leading 10.73 assists per set.

Chun was one of six Division III volleyball student-athletes honored as Academic Al-District VIII. As the Loggers libero, Chun leads one of the nation's best digging teams. She averages 5.24 digs per set. She also has found plenty of success in the classroom with a 3.94 GPA as a double major in Japanese and International Business.

The Loggers play for the Regional Championship today at noon against Cal Lutheran.
