PARKLAND, Washington – The Puget Sound volleyball team extended its winning streak to six games as the Loggers topped Pacific Lutheran, 3-0 (25-19, 25-21, 25-23), on the road Wednesday night.

The Loggers (8-3, 3-0 NWC) handed the Lutes (4-7, 2-1 NWC) just their second home loss in the last 30 games in Olson Gym. Puget Sound beat PLU earlier this season, 3-1, during a non-conference match as part of the Puget Sound Premiere in Memorial Fieldhouse.

Hannah Stinson continued her outstanding play by totaling 14 kills on a .480 attack percentage. The junior has posted double-digit kills in eight games this year, including 10+ kills in three consecutive games.

Four Loggers came away with at least 10 digs, led by Rachael Garrison with 22. Kristen Lane had 17 digs, followed by Shari-Lynn Hayashi with 15, and Moira McVicar with 10.

McVicar and Kayla Thaller finished with 14 assists apiece.

The Loggers recorded a .271 attack percentage against the Lutes, while PLU mustered just a .123 percentage.

The Loggers have a quick turnaround when they continue their NWC schedule at Pacific on Friday, Sept. 23, at 7 p.m.
