TACOMA, Washington – The Puget Sound volleyball team made quick work of Lewis & Clark, 3-0 (25-12, 25-16, 25-17), in Memorial Fieldhouse during Homecoming and Family Weekend on Saturday night.
After hitting a season-worst -.017 against Pacific Lutheran on Wednesday, the Loggers (7-8, 4-4 NWC) bounced back by hitting a season-best .310 against the Pioneers (2-13, 1-7 NWC).
Kristen Miguel posted her fourth double-double of the season for the Loggers, finishing with 11 kills and 10 digs. Rita Dexter finished with nine kills while hitting .368, and Moira McVicar added 32 assists. McVicar also notched 10 digs for her sixth double-double this fall.
The Loggers return to the court at Whitman on Friday, Oct. 13, at 7 p.m.
