Puget Sound celebrates its senior class this weekend when the Logger volleyball team hosts its final home matches of the 2017 season. The Loggers take on Willamette on Friday, Oct. 27, and Linfield on Saturday, Oct. 28. Both games are scheduled for 7 p.m.
Logger freshman Melanie Siacotos had a season-high 11 kills Friday night, but the Puget Sound volleyball team lost to George Fox, 3-0 (25-21, 25-22, 25-23), during Dig Pink night in Memorial Fieldhouse.
Whitman and Whitworth await the Puget Sound volleyball team for one of the most challenging weekends on the Loggers’ schedule. Puget Sound and Whitman compete on Friday, Oct. 13, at 7 p.m., and then the Loggers take on the Pirates Saturday, Oct. 14, at 5 p.m.
The Puget Sound volleyball team had an uncharacteristically tough time putting the ball away during its 3-0 (25-13, 26-24, 25-16) loss against Pacific Lutheran in Memorial Fieldhouse Wednesday night. The Lutes received 50 votes in the American Volleyball Coaches Association Top-25 Poll earlier this week.
The Northwest Conference landscape is wide open as the Puget Sound volleyball team continues its road schedule at Willamette and Linfield this weekend. The Loggers take on the Bearcats on Friday, Sept. 29, at 7 p.m., followed by a 7 p.m. start at Linfield on Saturday, Sept. 30.
The Puget Sound volleyball team heads to Oregon for its first Northwest Conference road contests of the season this weekend. The Loggers battle George Fox on Friday, Sept. 22, at 7 p.m., and then take on Pacific on Saturday, Sept. 23, at 5 p.m.
Back from a three-game stand in Texas, the Puget Sound volleyball team opens its Northwest Conference schedule in Memorial this weekend. The Loggers host Whitman on Friday, Sept. 15, at 7 p.m., followed by a 5 p.m. bout against Whitworth on Saturday, Sept. 16.
The Puget Sound Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) raised more than $1,500 for hurricane relief with a rummage sale this past weekend. SAAC will donate the proceeds to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief.
