Logger XC 7th at PLU Invite
PARKLAND, Wash. - Giving their younger runners a chance to compete, the Puget Sound Loggers finished in seventh place at the Pacific Lutheran Invitational on Saturday morning on University Golf Course in Parkland, Wash.
Lauren Mouat (Menlo Park, Calif./Menlo Atherton) was the first Logger across the line in the women's race, finishing in 37th place with a time of 25:33.72. Erin Larkin (Los Gatos, Calif.) finished in 43rd with a time of 25:51.35. Joscelyn Minton of Saint Martin's won the six-kilometer race in a time of 22:45.66. Western Oregon won the team portion of the race with a score of 29.
In the men's race, Daniel Teshima (Kensington, Calif./Lick Wilmerding), Patrick Graham (St. Louis, Mo./Watkins) and Robert Snowden (Eugene, Ore./South Eugene) finsihed in 68th, 69th and 70th places to lead the youthful Logger team. Zeke Van Patten of Western Oregon won the men's eight-kilometer race with a time of 25:3445 and WOU also took the team title with a score of 25.
The Loggers head down to the Lewis & Clark Invitational next week at McIver Park in Portland, Ore.
