Flyte Earns All-Region Honors At NCAA West Region

Claremont, Calif. – The Puget Sound women's cross country team finished 12th at the NCAA West Region meet on Saturday. Kathryn Flyte earned All-Region honors, finishing 25th.

Flyte ran a personal-best 22:42.7 to earn the honors and lead the Loggers. Her time also ranks 11th all-time on the Loggers top-25 list. Carrie Keith was the next Logger to finish in 47th at 23:19.2. Alicia Burns took 70th with a 23:56.0 and Laura Leach came in 81st at 24:15.3.  Molly Bradbury rounded out the Loggers scoring in 87th with a 24:28.4.

Two Logger men also ran in the NCAA West Region meet. Matt Klein posted a 26:59.6 and Josh Seekatz came in a t 27:13.8. Klein came in 57th while Seekatz finished 63rd.

The Loggers season comes to an end with at the regional meet, but will return a number of talented of talented runners to the squad.
