Schaffer's 22:41.97 is ranked No. 13 in Logger history, and Metzler's 22:45.36 is No. 16. The Logger women placed eighth out of 20 teams. Kayla Thaller was Puget Sound's third finisher, timing in at 23:24.07.
Isaac Fournier paced the Logger men's team that finished 18th overall. Fournier timed in at 26:56.12, and was followed by Liam Monaghan's personal-best time of 26:57.61. Thomas Kimler also came away with a personal-best time of 27:19.85.
All in all, nine Puget Sound runners ran personal bests on Saturday.
