LAKEWOOD, Washington – Puget Sound men's crew topped the boats from Parkland to claim the Meyer Cup on American Lake Sunday. The Logger women were topped by Pacific Lutheran in the battle for the Lamberth Cup.
The Puget Sound MV8 beat Pacific Lutheran by more than four seconds, timing in at 6:34.60. The MV4 was victorious by nearly five seconds, as it crossed the finish line in 7:17.90.
The Loggers' W2V8 lost by less than half a boat length, crossing the finish line in 6:59.60 – less than two seconds behind the Lutes.
Puget Sound now prepares for the Northwest Conference Championships, April 20.
