Puget Sound's last week

The Loggers (10-11, 3-7 NWC) played 11 games in eight games last week. They opened the week splitting with Lewis & Clark in a doubleheader before traveling to Arizona for a five-game swing. The team went 4-1 during the week, taking down Wisconsin-Platteville, Suffolk, Greenville, and Eastern Connecticut State, while being edged by Augsburg.  Puget Sound scored 40 runs through the five games. Last weekend the Loggers traveled to George Fox, losing four games.

The plan

The two teams are currently tied 9-9 at the beginning of the eighth inning. The game, which was started on February 25, was suspended due to lack of daylight. Puget Sound and Willamette will wrap up the suspended game before playing a doubleheader to complete the scheduled four-game series.
