Final home duals of the season are set for this weekend

TACOMA, Washington – The Puget Sound swim teams host the "Whits" this weekend for the final home meets of the season in the new Wallace Pool. The Loggers compete against Whitman at 6 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 20, followed by dual with Whitworth on Saturday at 1 p.m.

Senior sendoff

Prior to Saturday's meet, the Loggers will honor their men's and women's seniors who are competing in Wallace Pool for the last time in their collegiate careers.

 

Redemption weekend

Puget Sound's last meet was at home against Pomona-Pitzer on Jan. 7. The Loggers were overwhelmed by the Sagehens, as the Puget Sound men lost, 250-87, and the Logger women fell, 253-83.

 

Conference landscape

The Logger men sit atop the Northwest Conference standings with Whitman, as both teams have a 4-0 record. Pacific Lutheran (3-1) and Whitworth (3-1) are close behind in the standings. On the women's side, Pacific Lutheran and Whitman are 4-0, followed by Puget Sound and Whitworth with 3-1 records.
