Whitehall continues outstanding year at Redlands Invite

REDLANDS, California - Allanah Whitehall, who was named an All-American during the indoor track & field season, continues her record-setting junior year as the Puget Sound outdoor season gets underway. The Seattle native set a new school record in the 100-meter by crossing the finish line in 12.05 seconds at the Redlands Invitational on Friday. She held the previous record at 12.14 seconds.


Whitehall also nearly broke her school record in the 200-meter (25.06) when she finished in 25.10.

Several Loggers qualified for the Northwest Conference Championships. Mara Cummings qualified in the 200-m with a time of 27.08, and Melissa Motyer qualified in the 400-m by timing in at 1:00.85. Alison Wise ran the 800-m in 2:19.25.

On the men's side, Ross MacAusland ran the 100-m in 11.33 seconds, and Dillon Gongliewski threw the javelin 52.64 meters.

Puget Sound next hosts the Peyton Scoring Meet on Saturday, March 28, beginning at 11 a.m.
