Whitehall, Loggers compete in Vernacchia Invitational

BELLEVUE, Washington – Allanah Whitehall won two events, as the Puget Sound outdoor track & field teams competed in the Ralph Vernacchia Invitational hosted by Western Washington on Saturday.


For the Logger men, Geremia Lizier-Zmudzinski finished fifth in the 1500-meter run (3:57.78). On the women's side, a week after winning two conference crowns, Allanah Whitehall won both the 100m (12.15) and the 200m (25.12). Emery Bradlina placed second in the 800-meter run, with her time of 2:14.70, less than a second behind first place. Elizabeth King finished in a tie for second in the pole vault (3.60m), while Sunny Lewis was tied for sixth (3.00m).
