Loggers compete in PLU Open

PARKLAND, Washington – The Puget Sound outdoor track & field teams competed in the PLU Open on Saturday.


For the Logger men, Andrew Langtry and Liam Monaghan finished first and second, respectively, in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. Kai Moya was fourth in the 400-meter dash, and Miles Carlson was fourth in the 100-meter dash. Isaac Fournier won the 800-meter run (1:57.52). The 4x400 relay team of Graham Cobb, Matt Wells, Moya, and Jack Monaghan finished third. Steven Branham won the long jump with a distance of 5.97m., while Wells placed second in the high jump.

On the women's side, Hannah Eshelman won the 3,000-meter steeplechase in a time of 12:35.07. Emery Bradlina finished fourth in the 400-meter dash. Alison Wise was victorious in the 800-meter run (2:22.96).

The Loggers are next scheduled to compete in the Peyton Scoring Meet on Saturday, March 25.
