Men's and women's teams finish second at Peyton Scoring Meet

TACOMA, Washington – The Puget Sound men's and women's track & field teams both finished in second place during the Peyton Scoring Meet hosted by the Loggers on Saturday.


The Puget Sound men totaled 129 points, while the women finished with 130 points. Pacific Lutheran won both team events.

Logan Bays placed second in the women's 100-m dash (12.97) while Anna Joseph finished fourth (12.99). Both achieved Northwest Conference qualifying times in the event. Emery Bradlina finished with two NWC qualifying times. She finished the 800-m run in 2:21.84 (first place), and she crossed the 1,500-m run finish line in 4:55.20. (first place).

Emily Prasil finished second in the women's triple jump (9.79-m), and Mara Cummings won the 400-m dash (1:04.06). Mady Bolejack won the 3,000-m steeplechase by finishing in 13:17.45.

In men's competition, Matt Wells placed second in 100-m dash (11.43), and Miles Carlson finished close behind (11.45) for a third-place finish. Isaac Fournier placed third in the 800-m run (1:57.95), and he took second in the 1,500-m run (4:11.23).

Puget Sound hosts the 31st Shotwell Invitational on April 1, starting at 10 a.m.
