TACOMA, Washington – Jenna Kisner netted five goals, including a string of three consecutive scores, but the Puget Sound lacrosse team lost against Ohio Wesleyan, 11-6, in Baker Stadium Monday afternoon.
The Loggers (0-2) were down 3-0 when Kisner scored her first goal with 5:38 left in the first half. Just 25 seconds later, Kisner tallied a goal on a free-position shot. With three minutes before halftime, Kisner took a pass from Ali Walker and put buried the equalizer.
The teams went into halftime tied, 3-3, but the Battling Bishops (3-1) outscored the Loggers 8-3 in the second half.
Kisner scored twice more in the second half, and Hannah Nichols scored her second goal of the season.
The Loggers a quick turnaround when they head to George Fox for a Northwest Conference game Wednday, March 13, at 7 p.m.
