Women's soccer falls, 2-1, to Lewis & Clark in overtime

TACOMA, Washington - The Puget Sound women's soccer team were three minutes away from a victory, but fell to Lewis & Clark, 2-1, in overtime on Saturday afternoon in Baker Stadium. 

Puget Sound's (11-4-2, 9-2-2) Ava Cholakian slotted a header in the 35th minute off a corner kick from Kiana Serrao

At halftime the score was 1-0 in favor of Puget Sound.

In the 87th minute, the Pioneers (8-8-2, 7-1-1) found the equalizer goal to take the game into overtime. With five minutes left in OT, Lewis & Clark found the back of the net to take the win. 

The Loggers had two out of 15 shots on goal throughout the contest. 

Puget Sound hosts George Fox, Sunday, Nov. 3 at 12 p.m. in Baker Stadium.
