Keith Leads Logger Women At Sundodger

SEATTLE – The men's and women's cross country teams at the University of Puget Sound competed at the annual Sundodger Invitational hosted by the University of Washington on Saturday.

Both teams competed in the open division where the women placed 12th. The men placed 16th out of 21 teams.

Carrie Keith was the top finisher on the women's side, placing 39th with a personal-best time of 23:16.69 in the 6K. Her time also places her sixth on the Loggers all-time list. Molly Bradbury placed 53rd with a 23:37.64. Laura Leach clocked in with a 23:50.87 for 69th. Kathryn Flyte was 86th at 24:10.25. Brooke Peaden ran a 25:46.24 to also score for the Loggers.

Joshua Seekatz led the Logger men with a personal-best time of 26:03 in 51st out of over-200 runners. Matt Klein also recorded a personal-best, finishing at 26:22 in 75th. Casey Wall was next to finish in 99th with a time of 26:38.9 and Justin Higa hit a personal-best with a time of 27:43. Patrick Graham rounded out the Loggers' scoring runners when he crossed the finish line at 28:01.

In the meet, the Logger women defeated conference opponents PLU and George Fox with a total of 315 points. The men finihed just behind Whitman and PLU with 412 points.
