TACOMA, Washington – Several Loggers set personal records as both the men's and women's Puget Sound cross country teams put on a strong performance during the Sundodger Invitational at Lincoln Park in Seattle on Saturday morning.
The women's team finished in seventh place while the men placed sixth overall.
On the women's side, both Molly Bradbury and Tori Klein finished in the top 25 of the women's 6k run. Bradbury placed 23rd with a personal-record of 22:51. Klein finished with the same time, which is also a personal-record.
Alison Wise (24:47), Rachel Pearce-Smith (24:58), and Terra Wildon (25:26) all had career-best runs for the Loggers.
On the men's side, Joshua Seekatz paced Puget Sound by finishing in 15th in the 8k run with a time of 25:31. Justin Higa finished in 46th with a personal-record time of 26:15, and Andrew Langtry crossed the finish line in a personal-best 27:10.
The Loggers next compete at the Chuck Bowles Invitational in Salem, Oregon, on Oct. 4.
