Men's cross country ranked No. 6 in West Region

TACOMA, Washington – The Puget Sound men's cross country team is ranked No. 6 in the West Region, according to the most recent U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) poll.

Despite not competing this past weekend, the Loggers dropped one spot from No. 5 in the region. Puget Sound trails Northwest Conference members Willamette (No. 3) and Whitman (No. 5).

The Loggers opened the 2016 season by finishing second in the Puget Sound Invitational on Sept. 3, as Geremia Lizier-Zmudzinski placed first overall.

The Puget Sound men's and women's teams compete in the Sundodger Invitational in Seattle on Saturday, Sept. 17.
