ESTACADA, Oregon – Tori Klein placed eighth overall as the Puget Sound women's cross country team finished sixth and the men finished seventh in the Lewis & Clark Invitational at McIver State Park on Saturday.
Southern Oregon won the men's 8k, and Colorado College win the women's 6k.
Klein timed in at 23:01.90 in the women's 6k. Emery Bradlina was the Loggers' next best finisher, placing 32nd with a time of 24:25.00. Terra Wildon finished close behind in 37th, crossing the finish line in 24:36.60. There were 72 women's runners in the Lewis & Clark Invitational.
Geremia Lizier-Zmudzinski was the Logger men's top finisher, placing 21st overall with a time of 26:36.00. Jack Monaghan finished 36th with a time of 27:20.00, and Isaac Fournier was 50th by finishing in 27:56.00. There were 97 men's runners in all.
The Northwest Conference Championships are Oct. 29 in Newberg, Oregon.
