One more race before NWC Championships

TACOMA, Washington – The Puget Sound cross country teams compete in one final race before the Northwest Conference Championships as the Loggers travel to Estacada, Oregon for the Lewis & Clark Invitational, Saturday, Oct. 13, at McIver Park.


Freshman sweeps

Puget Sound men's freshman runner Colin Monaghan has received Northwest Conference Student-Athlete of the Week following each of his first three collegiate races this fall. In fact, he has been the top runner among NCAA D-III competitors in each race.


Looking back

Both Puget Sound teams placed 13th during the Charles Bowles Invitational hosted by Willamette, Sept. 29. Colin Monaghan placed fifth out of 176 men's runners, and Emery Bradlina finished 32nd out of 197 women's runners.


Last year's race

Samantha Schaffer placed 13th out of 128 women's runners, and Rachael Metzler was 34th during the 2017 Lewis & Clark Invitational. On the men's side, Liam Monaghan placed 52nd out of 119 runners.


NWC Championships

Lewis & Clark hosts the 2018 NWC Championships, Oct. 27, at McIver Park – the same location as this Saturday's race.
